Pizza :)

This is a recipe for 4 pizza’s that taste great 🙂  In this recipe you’ll need to make the dough. However, if you replace the white flour with self-raising flour you don’t need to do any of the kneading process 😀

  • 500G strong white flour
  • 1 sachet of yeast
  • 300 Ml of water
  • 1 table spoon of olive oil.

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Wooden spoon
  • Table spoon
  • Measuring jug
  • Cling film
  • Baking tray/pizza dish

  1. Put the flour into the mixing bowl, add the yeast and then stir well.
  2. Measure out 300ML of warm water in the mixing jug.
  3. Pour the oil on the flour and add the water little at a time until all combined. When the dough get thick, it’ll be easier to use your hands. After the water has been added, form the dough into a round ball. The ball should feel a little sticky and soft.
  4. Then put some flour on the work surface and begin to knead the dough until it is saggy. This will normally take about 15 minutes, although it can take longer depending on the person kneading.
  5. Once the dough ball is soft, for it into a small ball and place in the mixing bowl and cover with cling film. You’ll then need to place the bowl in a slightly warm place and leave for about 2 hours until it has increased in size 🙂    If you don’t have time for this, you can use self-raising flour and water without any of these stages.
  6. Once the dough has risen, you need to divide it up into small sections and roll it into pizza shapes.
  7. Place the rolled out shape on the baking tray and preheat the oven to 180 degrees
  8. Whilst the oven is heating up, you’ll need to top your pizza. These topping can be anything you want, therefore, I’m not going to suggest anything 🙂   I’ll ;eave you to choose what to put on it 🙂
  9. Place the pizza in to oven until the cheese has begun to brown and the dough base is slight crispy when touched 🙂

This is a really easy recipe, even more so when using self-raising flour 🙂

Hope you all enjoy 😀

Proper hot chocolate :)

As I see all of this crappy ‘fake’ hot chocolate around, I though I post how to make a real one 😀

This is made from actual chocolate and tastes great 🙂

  • 4 large cubes of chocolate
  • A mug full of milk
  • Small amount of Nutella (optional)

  1. Break the chocolate up into small pieces and place in the mug.
  2. Once done, fill the mug with milk to your desired amount.
  3. Heat the milk in the microwave until very hot.
  4. Once the milk has been take out of the microwave, give the liquid a good stir to combine the chocolate with the milk. If you want a slightly nutty tasting hot chocolate, you should add the Nutella after mixing the chocolate into the mixture.

Hope you enjoy this as much as I do 🙂

Healthy pork and veg

Hello everyone,

This recipe is a really healthy meal, is has a lot of veg and a nice bit of low fat pork 🙂

I like this recipe as it doesn’t take long to cook and it tastes really good 🙂

Ingredients (serves 4);

  • 4 pork loins
  • Soy sauce 4 tbsp
  • Honey 1 tbsp
  • 1 Orange, juice and zest
  • Small know of root ginger
  • 4 Large roasting potatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 broccoli

  • 2 large roasting dishes, 1 for potatoes 1 for pork
  • 1 frying pan
  • 1 large saucepan with lid
  • Wooden spoon
  • 1 Colander

  1. Firstly, tip all the marinade ingredients into a roasting dish and stir to combine. Place the pork in the marinade and, marinate on each side until the potatoes are in the oven.
  2. Whilst the pork is marinating, peel the 4 potatoes. Once peeled, cut each potato into evenly sized chunks. Then heat the oven to 200 degrees.
  3. In the saucepan, boil some water to cook the potatoes. Once the water is boiling, tip in the potatoes and cook until soft, but still slightly hard. Once the potatoes are at this stage, drain the liquid through the colander. Then shake the potatoes around until the potatoes are fluffy.
  4. Then place the potatoes into the other roasting tin. Then cover with a bit of oil and a sprinkling of salt, then give everything a good mix. Place in the oven and cook for a total of 50 minutes
  5. Then you’ll need to brown off all sides of the pork. Heat the frying pan over medium high heat and brown off the pork on each side, once done place back into the marinade. Once the potatoes have been in the oven for 30 minutes, place the pork into the hot oven. Ensure to baste the pork every 5 minutes until it has cooked for 25 minutes.
  6. When wailing for the pork and potatoes to cook, you’ll need to prepare the carrots and broccoli. Cut them into the size you want them to be. When there is 10 minutes left on the clock for the pork to cook, start boiling more water in the large saucepan. Once the water is boiling, cook the carrots and broccoli until the pork has been cooking for 25 minutes. By this time, the veg should be ready to eat 🙂

Hope you guys enjoy the easy and simple food 🙂

Let me know if you struggle with any stages of the recipe 🙂

  • 250G of dark chocolate
  • 220G of unsalted butter
  • 200G of caster sugar
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 120G plain flour
  • 50G of cocoa powder

  • Small pan
  • 2 mixing bowels ( one which will fit into the pan without toughing the bottom of the pan)
  • Wooden spoon
  • Whisk
  • Rubber spatula
  • Baking tin
  • Wire rack
  • Tin foil

  1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Fill half the saucepan with water and bring it to the boil.
  2. Cut the butter into small chunks and break up the chocolate, then place it in the mixing bowl that fits into the saucepan. Leave until all of the butter and chocolate has melted, don’t forget to mix it whilst it is melting.
  3. In the other bowl, whisk together the sugar and 3 eggs.
  4. Once the chocolate and butter has melted, tip it into the egg mixture. Ensure that it is all mixed and combined with the wooden spoon.
  5. Tip in the flour and cocoa powder and mix in thoroughly with the wooden spoon.
  6. Line the baking tin with foil and pour in the mixture. Ensure that you scrape all the mixture out using the rubber spatula.
  7. Place the mixture in the over for 25-30 minutes. You’ll need to stick a knife in the middle of the mix to test if it is ready. The knife will need to come out slightly gooey, this will indicate it is ready.
  8. Once ready, put the baking tray on the cooling rack and allow to cool. Once it has cooled, you can then cut the brownie to the shapes you desire.

I really like this brownie recipe as the brownies should be gooey and not hard at all. The use of dark chocolate will ensure that people without the sweet tooth will still enjoy them.

Macaroni cheese

  • 300G of macaroni
  • 8 smokey bacon rashers
  • 750ML milk
  • 50G butter
  • 50G plain flour
  • 190G cheddar cheese grated
  • 300G mozzarella grated
  • 1 small cauliflower cut into chunks
  • 1 onion diced

  • Large pan, medium pan
  • Whisk
  • Chopping board
  • Sharp Knife
  • 1 Frying pan
  • Large ovenproof dish

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Heat the grill to maximum heat. Once the grill is hot cook the bacon on each side until the fat is brown and easy to peel off. Then peel of the fat and cut the bacon into small pieces.
  3. Fill the medium pan with about 2/3 of water and put on the highest heat to boil. Once the water is boiling, add the macaroni and cook for 2-3 minutes less than the packet instructions.
  4. Fry the onions over medium heat until they are soft. Once they are soft put them aside for later.
  5. Once the macaroni has about 3 minutes left add the cauliflower to allow it to cook. Once the 3 minutes are up, drain the macaroni and cauliflower.
  6. Whilst the macaroni is cooking you’ll need to make the cheese sauce.Put the butter in the large pan and melt on medium heat. Once the butter has melted tip in the flour and mix together with the butter. To prevent the roux from tasting floury, you;ll need to cook it a little to get rid of the flour taste. Pour in about 1/4 of the milk and whisk the flour into the milk. Leave until the mil begins to visually thicken, then add 1/2 of the milk that is rest and whisk again until the flour is mixed well into the milk. Once again, you’ll need to let the milk visually thicken, once this has happened add the rest of the milk and allow to thicken slightly.
  7. Finally add all of the ingredients to the roux and give everything a good mix until the cheese is melting.
  8. Once everything is mixed add the entire mixture to the oven proof dish and bake for about 25-30 minutes. Once the dish has begun to brown the food will be ready to eat 🙂
